Today we announced a partnership with the Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation (SASF) of New York, whereby over 600 elementary and middle school-aged kids will be wearing POINT 3 uniforms in their after-school basketball practices and games this winter. That part would be cool enough, but so much more goes into this to make it a special alliance for us.

SASF is also a non-profit affiliate of our partners the New York Knicks and their Jr. Knicks program. To be able to connect that circle is exciting and satisfying to us. Yes, because it means some 1,400 youth players in New York City will be wearing our gear. But more so because it strengthens our commitment to helping develop the next generations of basketball players through our company initiative of We Care About Basketball

SASF does tremendous work by providing school kids lessons and opportunities to grow and learn in life, then apply those lessons in commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship to when they play. For as much as we strive to offer gear designed to improve on-court performance, to us the stuff that happens off the court is just as important. This partnership enables us to walk that walk.

The Elementary School SASF season kicked off this past weekend, and we look forward to following the progress of everyone involved!

Here is a sneak peek at some of the gear:
