A couple of weeks ago, we wrote about the best NBA ballplayers from the A. Here's a look at some of the our city's best young players still ripping it up on the college parquet. Who do you think is the best?
Malcolm Brogdon, Guard, Virginia
Brogdon was an All-ACC First Team performer last season for one of the biggest surprises teams in the country. Brogdon is the engine that pushes the Cavaliers ship and as long as he keeps attacking the rim, UVA should be potential ACC threat and he could snatch himself some All-American honors.
Shaq Goodwin, Center, Memphis
The thunderous big man is one of the most powerful inside players in college hoops. Goodwin will be a key player for Memphis this season and has a chance to earn All-League honors. He dunks harder than just about anyone else in the country…
Tekele Cotton, Guard, Wichita St
…But the most vicious A-Town dunker in school might be Cotton. Just check out what he did to Goodwin a few nights ago.
Or when he CLOSED DOWN the gym last season too!

Marcus Thornton, Forward, Georgia
Thornton decided to play not too far from home and has had a nice steady improvement in his career. Now the question is, can he lift Georgia to a post-season tournament?
Ryan Harrow and Kevin Ware, Georgia State
The resurgent downtown Atlanta school is starting to make a name for itself behind Harrow, RJ Hunter, and RJ's dad, Coach Ron Hunter. The Panthers have a team that is the class of the Sun Belt Conference and could make an NCAA tournament run.
Bernard Thompson, Florida Gulf Coast
While FGCU made a name for themselves a couple years ago with their "Dunk City" run to the Sweet Sixteen, Thompson has continued to play well in the year since and is a bonafide dead-eye shooter from distance. He can also finish at the rim!

Karl Cochran, Wofford
The short senior guard is a do-it-all type player for Wofford. He has scored over 10 points a game every season he has been on campus. Wofford is a sneaky good mid-major team and one to keep your eye on if they get into the Big Dance.
Arlon Harper, Charleston Southern
Harper is also a short senior guard who has averaged over 10 points a game every season he has been on campus. Harper is known as a deadly shooter and Charleston will need every bit of his long range bombing this season.
Most of Georgia Tech
Come on, you already knew that.
