The NBA season is finally here! Our POINT 3 Alphas were hard at work all summer getting some of the NBA's best players ready for tipoff. Over the next few days, we'll drop a few blog posts that showcase some of the great names that have worked with our Alphas.
Our second edition of the series features the OHoops crew. Orlando Hoops Inc. was founded in 1999 by coach Irwin Hudson.
OHoops does the majority of their training out of "The Lab" located in Oviedo. Although "The Lab" is not the biggest facility in the world, it has all the necessities needed to improve your game. Equipped with official size baskets, a taraflex floor, an automatic shooting machine (The GUN), a weight room which includes a VertiMax plyometric system, and a media center perfect for watching film, "The Lab" has quickly become a one-stop-shop for players of all levels looking to improve on the basketball court.
"The Lab" is only a small part of what makes OHoops great. Coach Irwin has a team of trainers, also known as "Basketball Professors" to offer unique training strategies and methodology. NBA stars including Chandler Parsons, Dwight Howard, Victor Oladipo and Kevin Durant have all spent time working on their game in The Lab. Victor even chose to feature The Lab in his "Sprint presents: The Crossover" commercial!
Although OHoops typically keeps their workout sessions private, you can check out a video of one of Chandler Parsons' midnight training sessions below, in addition to several photos of him and other NBA players OHoops has had the pleasure of training at The Lab.
